Polish actor, theater, film and television. Best known for Eroica (1957), Night Train (1959), Sergeant (1957), Ashes and Diamonds (1958), More Than Life at Stake (TV) (1968). Ignacy Machowski total theater played over a hundred roles, more than fifty film roles over a hundred Television Theatre, and thousands of radio performances. His third wife was a doctor Zofia Dramiñska-Machowska (b., 1962). Father of actor Christopher Machowski, violinist Maria Machowski and George Machowski (student, playwright, essayist, dramatic actor born second generation. 1991). Brother of the sculptor Leon Machowski. He has received many national awards, among others, Order of the Banner of Labor Class (1979), the Gold Cross of Merit (1954), Badge of Merit to Culture (1979).
