Born 27 October 1939 in Weston-super-Mare - English comedian, member of Monty Python.
His family was called "Cheese", but his father changed it to Cleese before going into the army in 1915. While studying law at Cambridge he met Graham Chapman. Together they created a surreal part of the business Pythons. In addition to the film appeared in The Secret Policeman’s Ball, with therapist Robin Skynner Cleese wrote two books on family life. In 1996, Cleese refused to accept the Commandery of the Order of the British Empire (CBE). In 2003 he lent his voice as the master of ceremonies on the album, Mike Oldfield’s Tubular Bells 2003. Best known for A fish called Wanda, Monty Python and Holly Graal, Life of Brian, The Meaning of Life.
