Polish actor, theater and film. In 1954 he worked in the theater "Coast" in Gdansk, in the years 1955-1964 in the People’s Theatre in Nowa Huta, and since 1964 at the Polish Theatre in Wroclaw. He also appeared in a cabaret "Paved" Andrew Waligórski. He was awarded the Knight’s Cross of the Polish Order of Polonia Restituta (1984). Father Grzegorz Matysik actor (b. 1960). Known for Ashes and Diamonds (1958), Dienstreise (1976), Pilot Pirx’s Inquest (1979).
