Commuter train leaves the Sheffield and soon is crashed under collapsing tunnel. The survivors of the crash realize that decades passed between the crash and the moment they have left the train. One of the passengers knows how it is possible and why they can see no people around.

British submarine that disappeared in 1943 suddenly turns up 40 years later fully functional, but without any sign of the crew. The only survivor agrees to help the navy solve the mystery.
