Catch Me If You Can 2002 review film review

Catch Me If You Can (2002, United States)
A true story of Frank Abagnale Jr., a successful con man, who for years was avoiding being caught posing as different characters - from Pan Am pilot to doctor and lawyer. At the age of 21 he entered the list of 10 most wanted criminals FBI. For several years he led an exciting game of cat-and-mouse with the agent Carl Hanratty, who was almost obsessed with catching Abagnale.
This film is different from others made by Steven Spielberg - seemingly not as spectacular story, yet he managed to turn it into a work of art. The story is set in 1960s, without special effects, expensive equipment or huge budget. It’s very interesting film, stylish, entertaining and surprisingly sweet. The strong point here is the acting of the main characters - very different styles mixed into amazing duo.
